Although being British born, Jaimar spent a majority of his life living in the US, it was at this stage in his life where he managed to develop his unique sound. Growing up listening to Hip Hop artists such as Kanye West, Common and Tribe Called Quest gave him inspiration to start writing, Jaimar expresses that his meaningful lyrics is influenced by his experiences and those around him.
