Born Marquis Reed in Fort Lauderdale, Fl; the rapper known as Ariginal became interested in music at the tender age of 11.Although, born in Fort Lauderdale, Ariginal was raised between the two cities of Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale. Growing up the oldest of 4 kids, Ariginal had to take on the role as father to his 3 siblings. In 1996 Ariginal's epiphany as an artist, was when he wrote his first verse to a Kriss Kross instrumental, leading to a chain reaction of hits; as his love for hip-hop continued to grow.
