Atlanta rapper Lotto Savage came up with his friend and affiliate, 21 Savage, and their crew Slaughtergang. Their hardcore attitude and street-focused lyrics zeroed in on real-life tales from the trap house, survival, and the hustle. In late 2015, 21 Savage dropped his Slaughter King mixtape, which included an appearance by Lotto on the track "Dirty K." Lotto's own mixtape, Don Slaughter, arrived months later. It featured production from Sonny Digital on tracks like "Trapped It Out" and "30," which featured an appearance from fellow Atlantan Lil Yachty. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
