Born in Chicago, Alexis "Demo" Ramirez grew up in a Mexican neighborhood known as "Little Village," living between poverty and gangs he was drawn to the culture of Hip-Hop. His MC name "DEMO" derives from the greek word "demoz" meaning "For The People". Growing up he listened to MC's like Nas, Notorious B.I.G. Big Pun and found his way out of his reality through music.
