Send Beats To AlliCat

AlliCat, born Allison D. Lindsay, is a Hip-Hop / R&B artist that is making waves from her hometown of Mansfield, Ohio to her current base in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her style is informative, yet versatile, her punchlines are poignant, and her commercial delivery is piercing yet welcomed by all. Responsible for all songwriting, vocal delivery, and executive production, AlliCat has released her debut EP, in addition to four game changing singles, and plenty of music on the way. Growing up in a small city, AlliCat began performing at school in choir, orchestra, and band; also during holiday speech and stage play church events. Citing artists Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, and Nicki Minaj as her inspiration in her pursuit of a music career, AlliCat put her own penmanship to the test and began writing poetry, as well as her own remixes to Top 40 hits released by some of her favorite artists. Never having recorded her songs, AlliCat received her first opportunity in 2005, while assigned to duty as a Combat Medic in the United States Army. While deployed to Southwest Baghdad, she and fellow musically-driven soldiers spent their time off-duty purchasing and shipping musical equipment to build a makeshift studio. Satisfied with the outcome, AlliCat dedicated the next few years to balancing her military career and polish her songwriting skills, all while studying the music business. Once she was assigned to her next duty station in Honolulu, Hawaii, AlliCat continued to grow her network by hosting nightlife events and coordinating various fundraising efforts with many Hawaii-based community service organizations. Seeing some success, AlliCat coordinated and hosted various events throughout the island, welcoming national level personalities such as Freeway Ricky Ross, rappers Lil Eazy E and Eazy E3, and Meelah Williams (of TVOne’s “R&B Divas”). In 2015, AlliCat transitioned her talents into recording, performing, and independently distributing her own penned music. Gaining exposure and momentum, she was selected amongst her peers as the sole female stand-out performer of 2016. Her persistence in building her brand resulted in shared stages with Boosie BadAzz, Kevin Gates, MIGOS, Mike Jones, Travis Porter, and more. Dubbed by the Hawaii hip-hop community as the “hardest working female artist of 2016,” AlliCat’s momentum is only gaining as she grows. To date, AlliCat has released 3 singles from her first EP entitled, “Hawaii’s Homegirl,” plus two follow-up singles, “Motivation,” and “Live It Up.” Her musical abilities has garnered over 200K+ internet radio spins, and is gaining attention from peers and musical associates across the country. AlliCat received one Independent Music Award nomination (2016), 5 Southern Coalition Music Awards (2017), as well as multiple accolades for her performances in support of various service organizations such as the NAACP – Honolulu Chapter (2013), and Honorable Mention for her service contributions from the Zeta Phi Beta, Inc (2016). AlliCat briefly returned to her hometown to connect with local artists before heading to the MidWest to continue promoting her music and developing clothing line, “OHmade Gear;” a line dedicated to contribute to the decrease in bullying and child violence.
